This trip was so much fun! It was my first Guess Where Trip so I didn't know what to expect but it was very enjoyable, even for my boyfriend, who had been a bit of a skeptic (particularly about the joy of small coffee shops). He even tried (and loved) the recommended drink at the first stop.

We fit the trip into one day and had a wonderful time, but we spent the whole day strategizing how we would turn the same stops on the trip into a weekend adventure with a hotel the next time we do it. And we WILL be doing the exact same thing again, perhaps in the summertime to switch it up.

A couple of tips before embarking on this trip:
1) Bring an appetite. Because of the nature of the mystery envelopes, we weren't sure whether it was best to eat at Stop 2 or Stop 3 and the envelopes just tell you where is food, it never says "you should eat lunch now". So choose wisely
2) Similarly, make sure you read all of the fine print and smaller text in the envelopes too. We ended up finding our FAVOURITE restaurant in the smaller text that provided an "alternate" in the envelope for Stop 3 (I believe it was 3...)
3) The option we chose for the final stop did end up being possibly reservation only (which the booklet did warn about) when we were there on Dec 14, so if you choose one that says that, I do recommend calling ahead to check when you decide on that stop.

This was a wonderful day trip on a snowy day. We enjoyed all the recommended stops so much my guests from Vietnam wish to return and go again in finer weather .

The entire trip is a nice easy drive out of Toronto, and the whole thing is cute stop after cute stop.
My girlfriend and I love these adventures, as competitive bodybuilders it’s hard to find things to do that aren’t centred around food, so these trips are fantastic

After learning of Guess Where Trips on the Dragon's Den, I eagerly booked my first trip as a gift for husband's birthday. The itinerary options (even during the winter in Southern Ontario) were vast, and we had a hard time picking just one. We were thrilled with the Vistas and Caves trip!

To start, the beautiful itinerary package came with a personalized birthday note for my husband, and each of the trip envelopes were so hard not to tear into! We had such great fun on the day of our adventure opening the envelope for each stop!

The experience designers that are building these trips are clearly very knowledgeable about the destinations and the small local businesses that make each locale special. We experienced places that we didn't know existed - and just an hour away from our home!

We have two new favourite restaurants having done this trip, and we can't wait to go and visit these spots again in the summer for a different flavour of the experience!

My boyfriend and I (and our pup!) did the Hudson River Hideaways trip on a cold and sunny Saturday in February. It was such a fun way to spend the day! Each stop was very well thought out with lots of charming and unique places to explore. There was a good amount of walking, but still pretty accessible (though I think I might avoid if injured or not able to be on my feet for an extended amount of time). If doing the trip in the winter, definitely bundle up! The "before you go" envelope offers recommended time spent at each stop which was helpful. Will definitely do the trip again in the warmer weather!

I do a monthly envelope of experiences for my husband and family and included 3 adventures from you this year.
The waterside Bliss was well planned, spacers great timing wise allowing for us to really enjoy our get away. It’s just so nice to get in the car and go…and an amazing distraction from day to day life.

It was a gift they’re waiting till Warner weather!!

Markets to Mountains

This great adventure is close to our home, so it was really great for us. Offered lots of different experiences and fun for a wide age group.

So much fun.
We planned to stay overnight so we took advantage of suggested stays.
Every stop was a fun surprise. Some, we stayed for a bit, others, we took our time.
Did this package in the winter which gave me an excuse and made it so enjoyable to be outside .
