Fun day!

We enjoyed the day and made a weekend out of it! We loved taking all the back roads. We preferred the first market over the second as there was a lot more to look at and more selection. (Luckily the second market had highland cows! 😍) Stop 3 was a bust as we had already eaten and the conservation area parking lot was absolutely swarming with deer flies - we didn’t even get out of the car. (This was at the end of June). Including bug spray/gear in the “what to bring” would have been helpful. Thank you for suggesting oats for the ducks! That was a highlight for us - ducks, geese, and swans eating out of our hand!

So glad you had a fabulous road trip! Bug spray is definitely a necessity during any Ontario summer adventure - great suggestion! Thank you for leaving a review!

Market review

We actually had a great day of travel to the markets and mountains. There are a few areas where consideration should be taken before venturing out.
Our first envelope had a market highlight at the end. The store was empty. There grow their own food and it was too early for the store.
Second. We were looking forward to a hike at the conservation area. When we arrived at the road leading in, it was a washed out rocky road. There was no way to get in. If I could include pictures I would.otherwise we had a terrific trip. You could contact me if you need more info or the pictures. [****]

Thank you so much for your review and feedback! We will certainly look into both things that you mentioned; thank you for helping us to make our trips better and better! :)

Great weekend

My husband and I enjoyed this road trip and made a weekend out of it. We discovered new places that we will return to again. Because of the weather we were unable to do everything on the itinerary but it was still a very worthwhile getaway.
