This trip has some stops that overlap with Historic Haunts.
Note our "romantic landmark" covered bridge on stop #2 is currently closed for construction, but we've got two other great options on this stop instead!

Itinerary

STOP 1

Your first stop takes you back in time to a quaint historic village. We've packed this first stop full of things to do and eat. Drive time to the second stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 2

Visit a local dairy farm and a super cute variety store (with amazing fritters on Saturdays!). Drive time to the third stop is 25 minutes.

STOP 3

One of the most beautiful villages in all of Ontario, packed with photo ops, shops, hikes, and more. Drive time to your fourth stop is 10 minutes.

STOP 4

Your fourth stop offers rivers, gardens and more picturesque things to see before heading home.

When can I use this trip?

This trip can be done Wednesday to Saturday throughout the year. We highly recommend going on a Thursday or Saturday to make the most of all the stops.

When should we leave?

We recommend leaving anytime between 8 am-9 am.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately this trip is not pup-friendly and they will need to stay at home for the day.

How many people can I bring?

We recommend bringing between 2- 5 people on your surprise road trip adventure.

How much will everything cost?

None of the stops require an entrance fee.

Good day out.

Really enjoyed the day out. The set up is great and easy to follow.
Unfortunately, we did not get to try any of the restaurants as they all had lines out the door and we did not have the to wait. We were able to find good food elsewhere.
Will definitely consider buying another one.

An amazing experience

I shared this experience with a girlfriend and we loved every minute of it! We were not able to open all our envelopes as there was so much to see and do at every stop. Definitely will be continuing this adventure in the spring!

Found some hidden gems

Although i was already pretty familiar with the town we were taken to, we found some very unique places to stop and i was very impressed with the staff being attentive and offering their discount upon seeing the itinerary in our hands.
I didnt enjoy the small hiking trail, as it wasnt well kept. There were loose boards over much of the trail with nails/screws sticking up. I did start to flip the boards over to avoid anyone getting one through the foot, but there became way too many.
Definitely take the advice of bug spray and coolers!
