WHAT TO EXPECT

Quirky cafes, funky little shops, forested nature trails, old mills, outdoor adventures, furry farm friends, and even a haunted ending. This is definitely an Ottawa-area favourite and for good reason!

Itinerary

STOP 1

This picture-perfect town invites you to slow down and soak in its old-world charm. Drive time to the second stop is 25 minutes.

STOP 2

Stretch your legs along trails that have a unique connection to Ireland, or visit a super cute farm! Drive time to your third stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 3

We've rounded up a great lunch spot within walking distance to a historic photo op. Drive time to your fourth stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 4

Whether you want another forested nature trail, a local bite or brew, or a haunted historic site, we’ve got you covered! Plus a few optional alternatives to fill up the rest of your day.

This trip is best used from Thursday to Sunday between mid-May to mid-October.

Note that if you're travelling in the winter, we recommend doing both options on stop #2, as your third stop has less to do in the winter months.

We recommend leaving anytime between 8:30 am - 9 am.

The trip includes patio options for when it's warm & takeaway that work well for your pet. There will also be at least one dog-friendly outdoor activity at each stop. If you bring your furry friend, you will be unable to bring them into any indoor suggestions.

We recommend bringing between 2- 5 people on your surprise road trip adventure.

First Stop: No fee

Second Stop: One optional stop has a small entrance fee per person ($). We've provided a free outdoor alternative.

Third Stop: No fee

Fourth Stop: One optional and seasonal haunted destination has a small entrance fee per person ($; seasonal mid-May to mid-October). We have provided many free year-round alternatives.
