Itinerary

STOP 1

Grab a coffee before you explore an island without having to drive to the coast! If you're with kids, this park has one of the coolest playgrounds we've ever found. Drive time to the second stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 2

Whether you want to try a local brew, explore a unique site or stroll through some gardens, we’ve got you covered. Drive time to the third stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 3

Head out on a little historic walking tour and be ready to snap lots of picturesque photos. Ready for lunch? Try a famous BLT or dine in a 100-year-old local favorite. Drive time to the fourth stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 4

Choose between a truly unique abandoned trail, a home with a connection to Scotland, or a scenic spot to sip local brews.

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip can be done Tuesday - Sunday, throughout the year.

Our brewery recommendation on the second stop is open Saturday & Sunday.

We recommend leaving anytime between 9:00 and 10:00 am. The later you leave, the less time you may have to complete all of the stops.

This trip is somewhat pet friendly! One every stop, there will be at least one option that allows your furry friends.

However, most of our shop and eatery suggestions only allow dogs on outdoor patios, so please coordinate with the weather.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at the restaurants and attractions in advance. In your confirmation email, you'll receive a copy of the itinerary.
