Itinerary

STOP 1

Start your day with a self-guided haunted walk. We've recommended a handful of our favourite spooky spots in a historic small town. Drive time to the second stop is 15 minutes

STOP 2

Have you ever felt like you were a bit psychic and connected to the other side? You might just fit in at this destination. Drive time to the third stop is 25 minutes.

STOP 3

The ruins of a 19th century mill and ghosts tend to go hand-in-hand. Wander around and you just might find someone lurking behind the crumbling walls. Drive time to the fourth stop is 10 minutes.

STOP 4

End the day in a less spooky way. Dig your toes in the sand at a nearby beach or grab a bite to eat before heading home.

Please see the approximate driving distances below. Please note this just includes round-trip driving distances and not time spent at stops.

From Orlando:
2 hours and 30 minutes / 130 miles

From Jacksonville:
4 hours and 5 minutes / 250 miles

From St. Augustine:
3 hours and 27 minutes / 185 miles

From Gainesville:
4 hours and 50 minutes / 243 miles

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip can be used any day throughout the year.

We recommend leaving between 9:00 and 9:30 am. The later you leave, the less time you may have to complete all of the stops.

You can bring your furry friend, but it may limit you from going into some of the recommended stops. Please keep your dog on a leash at all times.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip. If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at the restaurants and attractions in advance. In your confirmation email, you'll receive a copy of the itinerary.

First Stop: No fee

Second Stop: One suggestion is $10 per person. Free options available.

Third Stop: No fee

Fourth Stop: One suggestion has a $10 per vehicle entrance fee. Free options available.

I Had a Nice Time

This was a nice trip, it may not have been my favorite I've done so far. Simply because aside from one or two stops, it didn't feel like there was anything I could really sink my teeth into. Like a stop where I could spend a great deal of time soaking in the history or experience like some of my other trips. A lot of drive by type stops. Still a fun itinerary though! Found a couple eateries that I'd definitely go back to.

What a wonderful way to explore the area!

A great way to see the non-touristy parts of Orlando. Some very cool stories.

The Most Fun I’ve had in a Long Time

This trip was so much fun! I love the surprise aspect of not knowing where you’re going next until right before. It really felt like we were on a vacation for the day. We already want to go back to some of the stops again because there was so much to see and do! We brought our toddler along and were still able to do most of the activities. Highly recommend!
