STOP 2
Head out on an easy trail with a few surprises and photo-worthy moments, or pop over to a farmers market for road trip snacks. Drive time to your third stop is 10-20 minutes.
STOP 3
You must be getting hungry, and in need of a farm fresh brew, at this point in the day. If you aren't up for a beer, a quirky museum or small town shops are up next! Drive time to the fourth stop is 20 minutes.
STOP 4
Choose between a gorgeous boardwalk trail or an incredibly significant historic site! We think you should definitely pop into our small town suggestion to grab one last beer and take in their colourful murals before heading home.

We turned this 1 day event into a 2 day road trip!
We've lived in the area all our lives (50 year olds here) and we finally made it to places we've either passed by a thousand times, or museums we were not familiar with! Without giving too much away, there's something on this trip for everyone! Sweet treats, history, beautiful scenery, a pint or 2 and the beauty of nature and all her creatures.... We will definitely be purchasing another trip in the near future! Highly recommend!
We're so glad to hear this - we love this road trip! :) So happy that you had a good time, and smart choice to split it up over two days; there is so much to see!
There was not enough time to cover all the attractions suggested. We skipped a couple of small hikes and the produce market. Wish we could have done the Wye Marsh but time ran out!
Our daughter drove ..we are a couple 82 & 86…maybe we move more slowly!!
Anyway we enjoyed what we did see and could perhaps make another tour of what we missed!!
Happy to hear you had a nice day out! We do recommend just picking one option per stop, as we offer many recommendations on every stop that would be impossible to try to tackle in the same day :) Hope you found some hidden gems you'd like to return to in the future!
We loved it! We made a weekend out of it and reslly enjoyed the stops. A lot of cool historical facts and wonderful nature walks.
My boyfriend and I did this trip for our one year anniversary and we had a fantastic time. Each of the stops offered multiple options of activities to enjoy and we definitely discovered some hidden gems and have added some of the stops to our return to list. There are activities at each stop that are appropriate for all ages. My one suggestion would be to start early in the day and watch your time at each stop, by the time we got to envelope 4 part of the stop was closed. So while we missed a few things, we were having such a good time at the first three places we lost track of time.
Bought this as a gift for my grandparents. They loved it!
