Itinerary

STOP 1

Start the day with a peaceful wander through a historic park and gardens, or opt for one of our cozy alternative stops to ease into the drive. Drive time to the second stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 2

Wander through a charming 19th-century town and learn the stories behind its historic buildings. A roadside market-style stop and a couple of antique shops make for a relaxed and rewarding pause. Drive time to the third stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 3

This area is known for attracting talented brewmasters and award-winning winemakers, and now you get to experience it for yourself, with welcoming spots perfect for getting out of the cold. Drive time to the fourth stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 4

Your end destination truly packs a punch. With so much to explore, we’ve recommended several favorites - from scenic outdoor moments to historic photo ops that shine in any season.

This trip can be done any day throughout the year. One farm option on stop #1 is closed from November through March.

Featured suggestions are open Thursday - Sunday; however, there are alternative options if you go outside of these days.

We recommend leaving anytime between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. The later you leave, the less time you may have to complete all of the stops.

This trip is pet-friendly! At every stop there will be at least one option for you to explore with your furry friend.

Please note that our farm suggestion on stop one does not allow dogs. There is an alternative recommendation.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at the restaurants and attractions in advance. In your confirmation email, you'll receive a copy of the itinerary.
