I really enjoyed this day trip, especially the train tunnel, which is one of those things I would never have sought out on my own but was actually a huge highlight! However, the one thing I would change is the first hiking stop: it was too short to be worthwhile, in my opinion. If I were doing this trip again, I'd rather have the time to explore the second hiking trail, which was much better. We had a great time though and Gananoque was beautiful.

My husband and I were looking for something unique for our anniversary. We wanted to be outdoors, active and go somewhere we haven’t been before.
This day exceeded our expectations and we definitely found some hidden gems.

We had the opportunity to do this trip this past Sunday. Thank goodness the weather cooperated and did not rain. We had the best time. This trip is definitely one for people that enjoy doing things outside and is one of the more active trips we have done so far. Loved it! Cannot wait for our next adventure.

This would have been a great trip except the weather was not good and several of the places on it were not open yet so could not do the trails. I would recommend it closer to summer. My ratings reflect these circumstances.
