So many hidden gems!

This trip was excellent! Cute small towns, outdoor adventures, and a historic site. Everything was so close to Raleigh but we never would have found these hidden gems on our own. Highly recommend taking the tour at stop #3!

A quietly interesting day.

Our favorite place was where we had lunch, but the whole day we saw neat features that we had never seen in our over 20 years living in NC

WOW For Sandhills Sauntering!

2, 65 year old best friends left Chapel Hill for a day of Sandhills Sauntering! This was a BLAST! Absolutely great stops, and we loved learning the history of the stops. And, the food at stop #3-Fantastic! How could this restaurant be in the middle of nowhere? The view from the outside on the patio was perfect. We can't wait to try Quirky Delights. A great girls' day trip.

So fun we did it twice!

We took our first trip with Sandhills Sauntering in July, and we had such a great time that we decided to run the whole thing again in October, this time switching to the other options that were offered for most stops (and one antique store we spotted ourselves). Although the second trip didn't have the surprise element of the first, we were just as delighted with the suggested stops this second time through. And I LOVE not being the family cruise director (my usual role on family trips). We can't wait to try Quirky Delights!

Sandhills Sauntering Success

Wow! What a fantastic birthday I had, and I didn't even have to plan it! I used Guess Where Trips' Sandhills Sauntering road trip to make an effortless and memorable birthday. I am a event planner myself, but sometimes I just want to let someone else do the heavy lifting for me. This was a perfect fit for me. I am always looking for hidden gems. Please don't take me to the state capitol one more time! This itinerary did just that. It took us to several unique spots along our 4-part day. Without giving away too much, we investigated small towns, saw some record-breaking NC pride, and ate and drank at local stops that only the locals know about.
