Itinerary

STOP 1

Grab a morning coffee and explore some quirky historic photo ops or a peaceful garden trail. Drive time to the second stop is 23 minutes.

STOP 2

Try out our fun "eye spy" game at the most unusual museum we've ever seen! Drive time to the third stop is 21 minutes.

STOP 3

Haunted history or local brews? The choice is yours! We have a beautiful coffee shop and a colorful gallery to check out too! Drive time to the fourth stop is 5 minutes.

STOP 4

A small town that is chock-full of cute shops, delicious eats and murals galore. This is the perfect spot to end your day!

From Dallas, TX:
1 hour and 50 minutes / 96 miles

From Fort Worth, TX:
2 hours and 11 minutes / 119 miles

From Waco, TX*:
4 hours and 30 minutes / 277 miles

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip is best done Thursday - Sunday, any season throughout the year.

We do not recommend traveling between Monday - Wednesday, or on holidays.

We recommend departing between 9 - 9:30 am if you’re coming from Dallas/Fort Worth. The later you leave, the less time you’ll have to explore all of the stops.

This trip is dog-friendly. There will be at least one option on every stop that allows dogs. However, please note that most of our eatery & brewery suggestions will only allow dogs on outdoor patios, so we recommend coordinating with the weather.

We recommend bringing between 2- 5 people on your surprise road trip adventure.
