Itinerary

STOP 1

Choose between exploring a beautiful botanical garden or popping into local shops with a coffee in hand. Drive time to the second stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 2

Whether you want to check out a cool winery and ranch or indulge in handmade pastries, we think you'll fall in love with this stop. Drive time to the third stop is 13 minutes.

STOP 3

Ojai has so much to offer, from incredible food and unique shops to the largest outdoor book store in the United States. Drive time to the fourth stop is 10 minutes.

STOP 4

Head out on a trail with epic views, drive to a gorgeous farm property or sip on something local.

This trip can be done between Thursday and Sunday throughout the year

We recommend departing between 8:00 and 8:30 am. The later you leave, the less time you’ll have to explore the stops!

This trip is somewhat pet-friendly! There will be at least one pup-friendly option at each stop. In particular, our featured option on stop #1 is only dog-friendly on Wednesdays & Fridays; however, we've provided some dog-friendly cafe alternatives.

Note that most of our eatery suggestions will only allow dogs on outdoor patios. Please keep this in mind and coordinate with the weather.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

Yes! Between the 1st and 3rd stop there is a dedicated 15 mile bike path you can take between your fun road trip activities. It is then just a short short ride to our 4th stop options.

You can bring your own bike with you, or rent one near the first stop. Follow the link HERE to book something with them.

Please note that the path goes slightly uphill the entire way, which can be challenging for amateur cyclists.

Relaxing Day

We thoroughly enjoyed our day! My husband has some mobility issues so we opted out of the first suggested activity and modified it for his abilities. The 2nd and 3rd stops were great! We had a late start to our day, so opted out of stop 4. I would do this again!
I'll be buying other packages for sure.
