Coastal Crawl

While the stops were good; this is a 2-3 day itinerary. It’s way too much to complete in 1 day. Each stop is at least 1/2 day to see it properly. It almost seems as if the trip designer has not been to Nova Scotia and just picked top attractions sort of close to each other. I also found the driving between stops to be a lot longer than similar Guess Where Trips I’ve done in Southern Ontario.

I’d recommend doing stops 1 and 2 in one day (or even 1 day each stop) and stops 3 and 4 in another day. Otherwise each stop will feel really rushed.

We're from Ontario but saw there was a couple GWT offered in NS and thought they would be fun to take with us when we traveled to NS and they did not disappoint! Costal Crawl is a great trip when wanting to see the tourists areas that are quite popular but they also do a great job taking you to places that you may not find as a tourists, loved the cafe options, hikes and beaches! We went to the restaurant suggested in envelope 3 for dinner and it did not disappoint but we did get lucky and got a table without a reservation. The last beach recommendation was beautiful and glad we made it there!

As this was my first adventure with GWT, I don't have anything to compare it too. However I can't imagine the day being any better...it was as close to perfect as we could get.

We enjoyed the experience. We chose to do the alternative stop instead of Peggy's Cove (as we had been there a few times) and found that it didn't really compare. We had difficulty finding parking at the stops in Lunenburg. We would have liked to do the hike mentioned at the end but spent too much time exploring the earlier stops and didn't have time. We will be doing more trips in the future.
