from 994 reviewsLoved the places! Truely charming as described! I lived not far from these places for 7 years and didn't know about these things nearly in my own back yard. :)
We were very excited to go on our day date full of surprises and we were not disappointed. The only thing I would change is the time of year we went. We missed the fall colors but that is on us not Guess Where trips. This was such a great day and we went places we never knew existed and we made lots of friends and wonderful fun memories. I have many pictures but I only shared the ones that wouldn't spoil the surprise. Will definitely do this again!
The trip was amazing! 10/10 recommend. An amazing anniversary trip with lots of cute and hidden treasures!
My fiance and I had a great day exploring. We left around 10am and got home around 5pm. There were plenty of options, including great food and drinks. We visited places that were ~30 min away that we never would have gone without this guide. Highly recommend!
I live in the area and was familiar with a few of the stops, but also discovered a few new amazing hidden gems! We had a great time :)
This was our first time doing a Guess Where Trip and we are hooked! So much fun and a nice variety of things to do.
We also found some other hidden gems while traveling but I don’t want to share in case it gives away the area for this trip.
Great trip to do in the fall to see Mother Nature at work.
We had a wonderful time exploring the “Guess Where Trips - Small Town Charm Trail”. I made it into a family outing with my wife, sister, niece and nephew. The GWT package was a birthday gift. The first two stops were engaging and informative, offering new experiences and insights. The third stop took us to familiar places we’d visited before, so it wasn’t new to us. The final stop recommended two towns just a short drive from our hometown—one of which is where my sister, niece, and nephew live. We are in both these towns numerous times a week, so there wasn’t much that was new to discover, especially since we've all lived here our whole lives. We had hoped for destinations a bit further from home and realized I might have misinterpreted the website. Next time, we’ll definitely aim to explore a more distant area.
The art factory in Alton was especially enjoyable. Lunch at the Hockley general store was a “must do again” moment. Best time of year is definitely in the fall
We had an absolute Blast!! It was so much fun!! Everything we did was a 1st.
The only feedback is perhaps to update pricing or change the wording that prices subject to change.
We had only 1 downside of $35 parking for a 30 min stop at the florals.
1000% recommend and buying for gifts this Christmas season.
Very enjoyable. However, the Clearlake Brewery was dirty and smelly. The front glass door was dirty, it smelled like a barn in there. We were seated but grossed out and left. Other than that location 10/10 on everything else. Congratulations, I enjoyed watching you on Dragon Den.
We loved our first of what I am sure will be many Guess Where Trip! All the trip information was laid out beautifully. One of the locations we had visited previously but on this trip we saw it in a different way and enjoyed it just as much as new locations.
We had a beautiful 3 day adventure. We made our own reservations for a Muskoka River cruise. The cruise was well run and weather was sunny and warm. We had 2 highlights on Guess Where's suggestions - discovering the haunted hotel and enjoying an adventure outside and discovering weird types of artwork. This latter adventure is not too accessible,. - I had a walker and it was exhausting. The search for various wall art was too difficult in a car - there was a great deal of traffic in town and it was raining. We enjoyed some of the dining suggestions, but again, the towns were so busy and the restaurants were filled. It was a very enjoyable trip, but, for us, we wouldn't be able to do it in one day. Staying at a B&B was excellent and relaxing.
My husband and I used this as a day date. He has lived in the Cincinnati area since he was a child and I moved here almost ten years ago. We had never been to any of the places we went, and probably never would have if it wasn’t for this trip. We had an amazing day re-connecting. And because there are multiple things to do at each spot, we are already planning on doing the trip again, just choosing different places!
I went on this trip with a few friends and really enjoyed it! The town we stopped at was so cute and I’ve been back to explore it again since then.
