Itinerary

STOP 1

We've got a beautiful waterfront walk to start off your day of shore hopping (coffee recommendations are included). Drive time to the second stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 2

This stop will have you choosing between two beach options. One with a boardwalk and the other with epic views. Drive time to the third stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 3

Get your cameras out! Choose between a historic lighthouse or an iconic viewpoint. If you're hungry at this point, try one of our BBQ or seafood recommendations. Drive time to the fourth stop is 20 minutes

STOP 4

Depending on how much time you have, we suggest two great waterside options - An 18th century farmhouse just 5 minutes from your third stop, or a beach and lighthouse 18+ minutes away.

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip can be done any day of the week from Spring - Fall.

The brewery is best visited Friday - Sunday and historic home tours are Wednesday - Sunday. Be prepared for more traffic on summer weekends.

We recommend leaving anytime between 8:30 and 9:30 am. The later you leave, the less time you may have to complete all of the stops.

This trip is pet-friendly! At every stop there will be at least one option for you to explore with your furry friend.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at restaurants and attractions in advance. Please see the previous page for a copy of the digital itinerary.

First Stop: No fee.

Second Stop: Beach options have a $2/hour parking fee.

Third Stop: Our featured stop has an optional $5 entrance fee. We provide free alternatives.

Fourth Stop: Our featured stops are free to explore. If you want to end the day at another beach, this is $20/car.

A fun gift! Love these trips. Even places that I’ve visited previously have unknown and unexpected activities, restaurants, trails and sightseeing opportunities that GWT has put together. Break the destinations up or complete them in one day, and the suggestions for what to bring and when to leave are very helpful.
