Itinerary

STOP 1

We've recommended two great spots to fuel up in this adorable historic town, so grab a sweet treat to enjoy ocean side. Drive time to the second stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 2

Relaxing on a beach or an easy boardwalk trail - the choice is yours! Drive time to the third stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 3

Enjoy a low-key lunch and a bit of shopping in an area with a unique connection to an iconic brother duo. Drive time to the fourth stop is 5 minutes.

STOP 4

Still feel like being a beach bum? We've got you covered. If you want to change things up, wander through gorgeous botanical gardens ($) to end the day.

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip can be done any day of the week, year-round.

We do not recommend traveling on holidays.

We recommend leaving anytime between 7:30 - 8:00 am. The later you leave, the less time you may have to complete all of the stops.

Parking at our first stop can be difficult if you arrive later than 10 am, so please be aware and time your departure accordingly!

Unfortunately this trip is not dog friendly. You will have to leave your furry friend at home for the day!

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at restaurants and attractions in advance. Please see the previous page for a copy of the digital itinerary.

Loved Sun-Kissed Surprises!

We did the sun-kissed surprises with our one-year-old and it was great! The stops gave us options and we were able to pick which ones would work best for us. Definitely gave us some family memories for the books!
