Itinerary

STOP 1

Get photo-happy in the cutest small town. We’ve crafted a charming historic walking route with an eye-spy game highlighting the town’s colourful murals - perfect for stretching your legs and warming up. Drive time to the second stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 2

Make an unlikely furry friend and enjoy winter wanders with wide-open views. This is also a great spot to grab a bite if you’re ready for an early lunch. Drive time to the third stop is 10 minutes.

STOP 3

This is where the falls and fables truly come to life. Lace up your boots - the third stop is all about woodland and canyon trails, with waterfalls that take on a whole new look in winter. Drive time to the fourth stop is 10 minutes.

STOP 4

Wrap up the day with one more waterfall walk or settle in with a local brew - a relaxed and rewarding way to end your adventure.

This trip is best done Thursday - Sunday, any time of year.

Note that one biergarten on stop #2 is only available on the weekends from May - Oct. We do not recommend traveling on Tuesday.

We recommend leaving around 8:00 am. The later you leave, the less time you’ll have to explore all of the stops.

This trip is pet-friendly! At every stop there will be at least one option for you to explore with your furry friend. However, please note that our shop and eatery suggestions only allow dogs on outdoor patios, so we recommend coordinating with the weather.

We recommend bringing between 2- 5 people on your surprise road trip adventure.
