Itinerary

STOP 1

Begin your day with a family-run farmers market before heading to a scenic covered bridge and historic home for a photo op. Drive time to the second stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 2

Drive through the backroads and take in the countryside landscape. We've recommended four unique bridges that each tell a story. Drive time to your third stop is 7 minutes.

STOP 3

Any good road trip has tons of tasty bites to enjoy! This delightful small town is perfect for lunch and shopping. Drive time to the fourth stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 4

With so many unique things to do we've left the decision up to you. Choose between a local shop inside a historic mill, a living history museum, or some farm market stops.

This trip can be done Monday - Saturday, year round.

We do not recommend taking this trip on a Sunday.

We recommend leaving between 8:30 and 9:00 am. If you are coming from Baltimore we recommend leaving around 8:30. The later you leave, the less time you may have to complete all of the stops.

Unfortunately you will have to leave your furry friend at home for the day. There are a handful of places that don't welcome dogs so your options would be very limited if they came along.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at the restaurants and attractions in advance. In your confirmation email, you'll receive a copy of the itinerary.

First Stop: No fee

Second Stop: No fee

Third Stop: No fee

Fourth Stop: One featured stop is between $8-12 per person for a historic tour. There are other free options available.

After booking your trip, we'll send you a confirmation email with a few recommended accommodation options.

Covered Bridges and lots of Yum!

What fun! So many things to go see and try, we ran out of time! We all agreed we would go again but leave a bit earlier since many of the places closed at 4:30pm.

Covered Bridges & Baked Goods

A great weekend get away - low key and perfect to do at your own pace! Make sure you have a GPS system with you or you won't find the bridges (and one of them was closed anyway), and definitely don't plan on anything for Sunday as everything is closed, but a fun time driving around the back roads looking for bridges and stopping to shop here and there. Definitely going to do another trip!

So fun!!

This was my boyfriends Christmas gift this year and the first time either of us had done a Guess Where Trip. The entire day we talked about how much fun we had and enjoyed ourselves. We can't wait to try a different one.
