Itinerary

STOP 1

Start the day browsing antiques at local shops, before grabbing a sweet treat and road trip fuel. Drive time to the second stop is 13 minutes.

STOP 2

This haunted cemetery is surprisingly charming despite it's ghostly tales. You're in covered bridge county - so pass through a few of those before moving on. Drive time to the third stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 3

Relax for a moment at a unique winery or enjoy a riverside picnic with goodies from a local farmers market. Drive time to the fourth stop is 10 minutes.

STOP 4

It's time for an outdoorsy adventure! Whether you’re interested in a more adventurous cliff hike, a cascade overlook, or a storybook-inspired photo op - the choice is yours!

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip is best done between Wednesday - Saturday, any time of the year.

We do not recommend traveling between Sunday and Tuesday or on holidays.

We recommend departing between 8:30 and 9:00 am if you’re coming from Cleveland or Akron. If you’re coming from Pittsburgh or Sandusky, we recommend departing an hour earlier. The later you leave, the less time you’ll have to explore all of the stops.

This trip is somewhat pet-friendly! There will be at least one dog-friendly option on every stop. However, note that our shop and eatery suggestions only allow dogs on outdoor patios, so we recommend coordinating with the weather.

We recommend bringing between 2- 5 people on your surprise road trip adventure.

None of the stops on this trip require entrance or parking fees.
