All Things Charming

Loved the places! Truely charming as described! I lived not far from these places for 7 years and didn't know about these things nearly in my own back yard. :)

We were very excited to go on our day date full of surprises and we were not disappointed. The only thing I would change is the time of year we went. We missed the fall colors but that is on us not Guess Where trips. This was such a great day and we went places we never knew existed and we made lots of friends and wonderful fun memories. I have many pictures but I only shared the ones that wouldn't spoil the surprise. Will definitely do this again!

we loved this itinerary, but it opened to a rocky start. we were so beyond excited to see the old school from the breakfast club, but it was blocked off as it’s now a police headquarters. there were signs everywhere saying you can’t stop or even park to take a picture. the rest of the trip was so fun and full of things we wouldn’t normally have chosen, but really enjoyed.

For a retired couple, this was a great way to spend the day! We were a bit disappointed at the first stop (The Grove) - all of the buildings were locked up for the season. There was signage around which helped us learn the history of the buildings, though. Thankfully, the Interpretation center was open, which was very interesting. Wish we had peeked the night before at the first stop location so we would have left earlier. As it turned out, we ran out of time to make our last stop, as it closed at 4 pm. We will have to visit there at a later time. The museum at the second stop was the best!! :) All in all, a fun day!

There were some really cool locations here! However, one was closed for the season which was disappointing, and I checked the travel notices the morning of. I would recommend taking this trip in fall, spring, or summer. Not the winter like we did. But we at least know some spots we can go back to later!
