Itinerary

STOP 1

Choose between an idyllic garden complete with storybook gates and a sculpture park with all the right photo ops. Drive time to the second stop is 5 minutes.

STOP 2

Head to a beautiful tower that will have you feeling like Rapunzel before hanging out riverside. Drive time to the third stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 3

Visit a unique museum and farm before strolling the main street of a charming town. Drive time to your fourth stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 4

Wine, gardens, and art! Choose a theme and hit the road for your last stop.

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip can be done any day of the week, year round.

There are some options that are closed Sunday - Tuesday, but we provide alternatives at each stop.

We recommend leaving anytime between 9:30 and 10:00 am if you are leaving from the Philadelphia area. If you are coming from a further city, we recommend leaving at 9:00 am.

Unfortunately you will have to leave your furry friend at home for the day. There are a handful of places that don't welcome dogs so your options would be very limited if they came along.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at the restaurants and attractions in advance. In your confirmation email, you'll receive a copy of the itinerary.

First Stop: One suggestion is free but accepts donations. The other has no fee.

Second Stop: No fee

Third Stop: No fee

Fourth Stop: A couple optional suggestions require a fee to enter. We have provided a number of free alternatives.

This trip was magical - it absolutely lived up to the name! We spread it out over two days, spending the night in one of the recommended hotels, and it was the perfect amount of time to see everything at a relaxed pace. 100% recommend!

So good!!

I’m someone that is always planning and going on my own adventures. For my Sister and Nieces birthday this year I decided I wanted to be surprised too!! I wasn’t expecting much from this experience but it not only met our expectations it exceeded them!! We couldn’t stop saying I can’t believe we didn’t know about this place or how come we’ve never been here before. So fun and we can’t wait to try each and everyone of the other adventures that you offer.

Magical adventure

We had an amazing time. Brought our two kids (13m and 9f) they both had a blast.

Lovely trip- turned it into two days

We couldn’t decide what to visit (I knew this would happen) so we did it all and stayed in a hotel. And bought my engagement ring. Ha. It was so fun and we even became members at the art museum and have gone 2x since October (it’s April). Finding hidden gems is why I love this website. I don’t have the pics on my phone still. It was pretty though.
