Itinerary

STOP 1

An adorable hamlet smack dab in the middle of a designated 'scenic route.' The drive to your second stop is 12 minutes.

STOP 2

Your second stop takes you to an award-winning attraction that offers a little bit of everything indoors and outdoors. The best part? It's free! The drive to your third stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 3

Lunch time! The choice is up to you to stay in the country or venture into a historic downtown. The drive time to your fourth stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 4

The fourth stop is for the explorers. Here we've recommended a few notable outdoor attractions for hikers and trail lovers!

This itinerary can be used throughout the year, and is best done from Wednesday – Saturday. Keep in mind that there may be closures on statutory holidays.

We recommend leaving anytime between 9:00 – 9:30 am.

You can bring your furry friend, but it may limit you from going into some of the recommended stops. Please always keep your dog on a leash.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip. If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at the restaurants and attractions in advance. In your confirmation email, you'll receive a copy of the itinerary.

None of the stops require an entrance fee. The fourth stop may require a parking fee (less than $10) depending on which option you choose.

Fun day out!

We had a beautiful day to drive along some country roads. We love that we had choices at all stops. The little towns we stopped at were so cute and fun. We definitely saw caves if you go on the Splitrock Narrows hike. Will have to try another Guess Where Trip in the future!

Best day ever

This was a great adventure. We left Hamilton at 9:30. We had a blast so many things to do and she’s from we will be doing this again.

I selected this road trip based on Collingwood being the area as we were staying in a cottage nearby, I was really hoping to spend more time in that area, but rather it directed us to an area that we have family so we already knew several of the stops. Still had a great time spending the day together! One of the main attractions was not accessible due to construction in the area so that was disappointing.

We're glad you were able to enjoy most of the stops on this trip, and you might love our Markets to Mountains or Bayside Wonders road trips which take place closer to the Collingwood/Georgian Bay areas.

A charming escape from the city!

My partner and I were thrilled to go on this experience for his birthday! Luckily, this came at a really great time and we were able to visit a bonus place that is open for a limited amount of time. He really enjoyed a lot of the spaces we visited, and I really appreciated the cute nooks and being able to take photos. Would highly recommend for those couples looking to find a fun balance between cozy and outdoorsy. :) Thanks for the fun experience!
