Our haunted trips rely heavily on story-telling in the booklets. There will be a handful of locations you can look at, but cannot visit in person.

Itinerary

STOP 1

Explore two haunted sights that have a bloody past and unique Canadian history. The drive to your second stop is 11 minutes.

STOP 2

You may want a coffee to calm your nerves before heading to your next stop, an abandoned destination with an eerie story. The drive to your third stop is 12 minutes.

STOP 3

Time to check "Eat in a Haunted Restaurant" off your bucket list! Please note all the options on this stop are restaurants, which are at the travellers expense. The drive time to your fourth stop is 10 minutes.

STOP 4

The only decision you have to make is do you want to meet the ghost of a heartbroken lover or head out on a less-spooky hike. We've recommended a scenic drive before you head home.

How do your haunted trips compare to other trips?

Our haunted trips are all about the stories and the atmosphere. While you’ll visit real locations tied to eerie legends, many are best enjoyed from the outside — so bring your imagination! You’ll have a few short walks or hikes, plus several “drive-by” or photo-op stops where you’ll read the history in your booklet and picture the events for yourself.

Ghost sightings not guaranteed… but goosebumps possible.

How long will it take?

Please see the approximate driving distances below. Please note this just includes round-trip driving distances and not time spent at stops.

From Toronto: 2 hours and 16 minutes / 162 km

From Oakville: 1 hour and 25 minutes / 90 km

From Oshawa: 3 hours and 14 minutes / 280 km

From Kitchener: 2 hours and 10 minutes / 135 km

From London: 3 hours and 9 minutes / 265 km

From Barrie: 3 hours 31 minutes / 326 km

When can I use this trip?

This trip can be done any day throughout the year.

When should we leave?

We recommend leaving anytime between 9:00 - 9:30 am.

Can I bring my dog?

You can bring your furry friend, but it will limit you from going into our main restaurant recommendations on the third stop. You could grab take out and find your own picnic spot nearby!

Please keep your dog on a leash at all times.

How many people can I bring?

We recommend bringing 2 - 5 people, or one car load.

How much will everything cost?

All of our stop suggestions are free to explore, however there are a couple parking fees. We recommend bringing a car full of friends to split the cost!

There are a few places with metered street parking and your fourth stop will be $11 / vehicle.

Spooky Sights & Ghostly Tales

Overall this trip was really fun and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. We went the weekend before Halloween and we saw a ton of other people who were also doing this trip. The weather was perfect.. no rain, sun shining and a slightly warm temperature. The leaves were a beautiful orangey red everywhere we went which just really added to the experience. I know a lot of people complain about stop 2 because the asylum has been bought and is now fenced off but we went into the trip knowing that and still had a blast looking at the building from the other side of the fence and reading the spooky story behind it.

This was our second Guess Where trip and we would definitely do it again. It was a vey laid back, casual trip that requires your imagination and interest in spooky stories to really sell the experience.

Spooky trip

We started off with a really fun trip and the first stop was very interesting and very fun. We went one week before Halloween so a few people were doing it also which was really neat.
this would be are second guess where trip, we were a little upset with the 2 and 3 stop. The second stop was hard to get it as we had a hard time parking, sadly the spot only is for certain people and not everyone would like it.
The 3 stop was very upsetting the dinner place we went to was very upsetting the food was cold and the staff were not very friendly. The last stop was nice and a good way to end the day. I would say if you have your dog on this trip make sure you have your pet flee and tick protected cuz we got home and are dog was infected which was very upsetting.
Over all not a trip we enjoyed.

My Favourite Trip!

This was my favourite one by far! Everything was super accessible and I had a lot of fun wandering around the towns.

Fun day trip

We travelled somewhere not too far away but I never been there (no spoilers!). My husband and I had a fantastic day and can't wait to try another "Guess where trip". Not very spooky but the background information about each location was so interesting!

Spooky sights and ghostly tales

It was a great tour,most of the places we've been to. Some of the places we didn't stop at because we weren't ready to eat a meal. I loved the suspense and clue finding. It would have been very cool to be able to tour the psych ward and asylum. I will definitely do another one.
