Start your day in a picture-perfect town by the river before strolling along boardwalks, dining at a funky distillery, indulging at farm shops and so much more. This trip is a nice distance from the city and can be done year-round!

Itinerary

STOP 1

Start your day in a town by the river. Grab a coffee and explore a few shops set in a historic mill from the 1800s. Drive time to the second stop is 13 minutes.

STOP 2

It’s time to stretch your legs! Here, we recommend two trails of varying lengths. One even lets you feed chickadees out of your hand. Drive time to the third stop is 5 minutes.

STOP 3

Up next? A farm distillery, brewery & restaurant all in one. If you're not in the mood, we recommend a funky country market instead. Drive time to the fourth stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 4

Choose between a couple of breweries, a riverside stroll with a connection to Hollywood, a gorgeous historic spot, or a farm for local goodies and furry friends.

We did this trip for a ladies group day on a cold winter day but really enjoyed it! Loved the variety of stops and choices of things to do.

Europe without the price tag!

Took our friends on this trip and we turned it into an overnight getaway. This was their first GWT and they're throughly impressed! We're still talking about one of the brewery stops a year later!

Riverside Roaming

We really enjoyed the cafe, the coffees and cinnamon buns were delicious. Shopping was really fun, very unique shops. We did a nice hike and had amazing pizza at the first distillery/brewery. We throughly enjoyed the whole trip and will do another soon. It’s a great way to see places and take in new experiences, highly recommend!

As Advertised

A very enjoyable day out! We were introduced to some shopping and restaurants that we will definitely revisit. GPS was recommended. We managed without but a map as backup is crucial.
