Itinerary

STOP 1

Choose your own pit stop. We recommend a variety of things to do along the way regardless of where you're coming from. The drive time to the second stop is 45 minutes. IF you're coming from the London area, we've recommended an alternative route to make the drive shorter.

STOP 2

Beers, bridges or boardwalks? The choice is yours. Drive time to the third stop is 8 minutes.

STOP 3

Berries, farms or beer? It's another choice we're leaving up to you. Drive time to the fourth stop is only 4 minutes.

STOP 4

This beachside town is a fan favourite. We guarantee you'll be planning your trip back here before you even leave.

This trip is best done Spring - Fall between Thursday - Saturday. You can travel on a Wednesday or Sunday; however, there will be a few closures on stops 1 and 3. We do not recommend travelling on a Monday or Tuesday.

If departing from the GTA, we recommend leaving between 8 am - 9 am. If departing from the London area, we recommend leaving between 9 am - 10 am.

You can bring your pup on Hops, Hikes and History!


The trip includes patio options for when it's warm & takeaway that work well for your pet. There will also be at least one dog-friendly activity at each stop. If you bring your furry friend, you will be unable to bring them into any indoor suggestions.

We recommend bringing between 2- 5 people on your surprise road trip adventure.

None of the stops require an entrance fee. You will need extra money for the brewery and the restaurant stops we recommend.

We particularly enjoyed exploring the micro breweries on this trip. Bayfield is a pretty town but very busy if you travel on the weekend, allow extra time to find a parking spot.

Rural Retreat

A nice day away from the city! Although we had been to most of the destinations before, it was nice to walk a scenic trail we hadn’t before, browse a mill and sit outside in the sun (in November) at a craft brewery we had never experienced. Having the route planned out was lovely as it took away the usual ask, “What do you want to do today?”. We would highly recommend this route if you enjoy scenic hikes and beer off the beaten track.
