Itinerary

STOP 1

Fuel up with a morning coffee & breakfast heading to a hotel with a notorious past. Drive time to your second stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 2

Cemeteries, churches and photo ops - oh my! Choose your own adventure but be prepared for epic stories and mysteries. Drive time to your third stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 3

Roll down the windows and explore one of the prettiest roads in Florida. A spot with high paranormal activity and a few restaurant options await! Drive time to your fourth stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 4

Choose between drinks at a hotel with a haunted past or cozy shopping district to finish your day

Please see the approximate driving distances below. Please note this just includes round-trip driving distances and not time spent at stops.

From Downtown Miami:
1 hour and 25 minutes / 32 miles

From Florida City:
2 hours and 11 minutes / 80 miles

From Fort Lauderdale:
2 hours and 23 minutes / 87 miles

From West Palm Beach:
3 hours and 39 minutes / 173 miles

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the round-trip driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip can be done throughout the year from Wednesday - Sunday.

We recommend leaving around 9:30 am if you live in Miami. If you are coming from further afield, we recommend getting to the city between 9:30 and 10:00 am.

We do not recommend bringing your dog as it will limit you from going into a few of our recommended restaurants. The attraction on the third stop does not allow dogs.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

I learned so much in the short 6 hours I was out on this trip. So much is packed into each trip...I have to go back and finish the rest of the stops.
