Itinerary

STOP 1

Stroll, sip coffee, or pop into local shops to start your day in a relaxing way. Drive time to the second stop is 7 minutes.

STOP 2

Visit a true Wild West movie set come to life. We're certain you'll leave with a full camera roll! Drive time to the third stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 3

Grab a bite & then explore an incredible open-air art oasis. Drive time to the fourth stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 4

With so much to do in the area we have left it up to you to choose how to end the day. We've recommended everything from funky art & cocktails to photo ops & easy trails.

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip is best done between Thursday - Monday from September to May. Can be done in the summer months; however, a few places will be closed and it will be extremely hot and dry.

We recommend getting to the area around 10:30 am, so plan your departure time accordingly.

This trip is pet-friendly! At every stop there will be at least one dog-friendly option.

Note that most of our eatery suggestions will only allow dogs on outdoor patios. Please keep this in mind and coordinate with the weather.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at restaurants and attractions in advance. Please see the previous page for a copy of the digital itinerary.
