Itinerary

STOP 1

We've recommended a variety of 'hidden gems' for you to explore at the first stop. Drive time to the second stop is 25 minutes.

STOP 2

Your next stop takes you on an 'Irish Adventure.' Drive time to your third stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 3

We've rounded up a great lunch spot within walking distance to a historic photo opp. Drive time to your fourth stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 4

Your fourth stop takes you through more 'quirks and forests' with a couple of cool pit stops along the way.

It can be used any day of the week, with some closures on Mondays. We recommend doing this trip while there's no snow on the ground (as it can be difficult to hike).

We recommend leaving anytime between 8 am - 9 am.

You can bring your pup on Quirky Adventures! The trip includes patio options for when it's warm & takeaway that work well for your pet. There will also be at least one dog-friendly activity at each stop. If you bring your furry friend, you will be unable to bring them into any indoor suggestions.

We recommend bringing between 2- 5 people on your surprise road trip adventure.

None of the stops require an entrance fee.

Loved this trip!

I did this trip with my best friend and we had so much fun!
There were a few things that made us feel like we went back in time, like ruins and a museum. The suggested lunch spot was good and you get a discount if you show your trip book. All around great day ... looking forward to doing more trips

Best day trip from Ottawa

I've done a couple of GWT trips within Ottawa and this has been my favourite so far. Loved the hikes, a few hidden gems and some really cute towns. Bring bug spray in the summer time! 5/5
