Itinerary

STOP 1

Start your day visiting a couple Hollywood hot spots with a specialty coffee in hand. Drive time to the second stop is 25 minutes.

STOP 2

Choose between a historic covered bridge, a funky country winery or a historic brewery awaits. Drive time to the third stop is 15 minutes.

STOP 3

A quick roadside stop with an interesting story! Hungry? We've recommended a cute and cozy cafe. Drive time to the fourth stop is 20 minutes.

STOP 4

Head to one of the best lookouts in the area! It's easy to access right from the parking lot, but there are nearby trails if you want to get your heart rate up!

  • From Downtown Atlanta: 3 hours and 30 minutes / 168 miles
  • From LaGrange: 2 hours and 46 minutes / 118 miles
  • From Macon*: 4 hours and 10 minutes / 204 miles
  • From Columbus: 3 hours and 28 minutes / 170 miles
  • From Athens*: 6 hours / 311 miles

*We recommend booking an overnight hotel if the driving distance is greater than 4 hours round-trip.

This trip can be done throughout the year between Wednesday - Sunday.

We recommend leaving anytime between 9:00 and 10:00 am if you're leaving from Atlanta. The later you leave, the less time you may have to complete all of the stops.

You can bring your furry-friend on this trip. It may limit you to takeout only options, but there is a dog-friendly destination on each stop.

We recommended bringing up to 5 people on your surprise road trip.

If you're bringing a larger group, we highly recommend having one person in charge of booking reservations at the restaurants and attractions in advance. In your confirmation email, you'll receive a copy of the itinerary.

A Fun Adventure!
